FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most, on plans, tokens, billing, and day-to-day agent management.

No. Your agents run on Minicrew’s managed model, with tokens included in your plan. A handful of advanced tools, code execution and Browserbase-powered browsing among them, need your own key for that specific tool. The core agent doesn’t.

Think of tokens as fuel. Every message an agent processes burns a little of it, very roughly a few tokens per word. Your plan comes with a monthly allowance, and heavier use, longer conversations, more agents, bigger documents, burns through it faster. You don’t manage tokens by hand: Minicrew meters them automatically so you pay only for the work your agents actually do.

Tokens are the standard unit of LLM usage, roughly one per four characters of input or output. Every plan includes a monthly allowance, counted across both what an agent reads and what it generates, across all activity in your workspace.

Your agents pause until the next billing cycle. Or buy a top-up token pack instantly from the Billing page — packs never expire and stack on top of your monthly allowance.

No. Monthly plan tokens reset at the start of each billing period. Token packs you buy separately don’t expire and carry forward indefinitely.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately, billed pro rata. Downgrades and cancellations wait until the end of your current billing period; you keep full access until then.

Yes. The Free plan gives you 1 agent, 1 channel, and a welcome bonus of tokens valid for 30 days, enough to try the real experience before you subscribe.

Yes, most plans support more than one, each with its own persona, skills, tools, and channels. For easier management, organize related agents into Agent Groups from the dashboard.

Open the agent’s Configuration view and go to the Persona tab. Rewrite it directly, or restart from one of the guided templates. Either way replaces the existing instructions, so save a copy of anything worth keeping first.

Yes — Slack and the Web Embed widget at the same time, for instance. Connect them from the Channels tab in the agent’s configuration.

Where do I manage billing and see my usage?

Section titled “Where do I manage billing and see my usage?”

The Billing page in your workspace shows your current plan and token usage for the period, and lets you buy top-up packs or change plans. See Billing & Plans for details.
